These guys are great. They came out to see my car on the same day. They gave me a fair price for my scrap Clio. They re very friendly (especially if you have dogs). I would defo us them again if necessary. Thanks Ian. :)

After only ever having dealt with this situation once before... dealing with Ian and Scrap My Car Wales was something of a revelation.

Unlike the first time I had to deal with an MOT failure and scrapping my car - there was no haggling involved over price and Ian actually took me through the necessary paperwork and even left a receipt should anything untoward happen in the future.

It's nice to meet someone who isn't in a rush and willing to take time to explain and go through the necessary details.

He's even offered to have look at my next car to ensure I don't buy a dud and for no fee.

A gentleman and a scholar and I'd have no complaints about recommending his services to anyone.

Definitely worth dealing with and I'm 100% satisfied with the service I received.

I recently put my car through an mot and it failed. I couldn't afford the repairs so I contacted Ian my email.

He rang me back in the evening and was very courteous. He said he would come and see me the following day which he did and on time too.

I was a pleasure dealing with Ian, he was extremely efficient and carried all paperwork needed with him which he also dealt with, all I needed to do was sign, and he gave me money on the spot and took away my car.

I would have no hesitation in dealing with Ian in the future, and would also recommend him to friends and family.

I recently had a car that broke down and was past it's useful life. I had contacted a firm through the internet but despite two appointments they failed to show. I then contacted scrapmycarwales.com and they responded within 3 hours of my call. they were unable to remove my car that day but the dvla paperwork was filled out and a cheque in payment was supplied for a little more than the other company who did not turn up.
Moreover, the rep had a stock of forms and self-addressed, stamped envelopes and he completed the form for me to send- marvelous!
The following day, my new car would not start, when the driver called to take my old car away,he offered to have a look and in a few mins had the car running. I cannot beleive that this old fashioned courtesy still exists, however the recovery driver told me that the boss insists that his staff should extend every offer of help within their power towards customers.

I'm a newly qualified driver and got a bad deal on my first car that resulted in it having to be scrapped, so I was a little nervous about the whole procedure but my first phone call with Ian immediately put me at my ease. He was very friendly and gave me a fair price on my car and filled out the paper work. And then, to my surprise and delight, Ian rang me up a day after taking my car to tell me that I could get money back on my tax disk - something I didn't know! We arranged a time to meet that was best for me, and I found that he had not only filled out the necessary paper work (again), but also provided me with a stamped addressed envelope, so the stress of scouring forms to make sure I'd filled them out properly was non-existent. Ian also offered his expertise for any future dealings I have with cars outside of scrappage. A truly pleasant service, headed by a dedicated man. Thank you.

My first encounter with car disposal; and a good one indeed.Ian is courteous, businesslike fair and efficient. He is evidently highly experienced in and knowledgeable of the motor trade generally.

I found the website very well set out.

It was easy to navigate to the sections that I needed and instructions for online forms and contact details are set out clearly for quick use.

When speaking to Ian, he was very polite and understanding. He even offered for me to contact him with any queries I have about cars, not just for scrapping purposes.

If in doubt I will be contacting him again for his polite manner and knowledge of the current climate surrounding vehicle scrapping and general vehicle use.
